MilkPep Website Redesign
My Role
UI Design, design system, interaction design
MilkPEP - which stands for Milk Processor Education Program, is a government checkoff program that provides milk processors in America research, insights and marketing guidance, as well as national category-level marketing to enhance consumer perception of milk.
Overview
Overall the goal of the MilkPEP website redesign was to build a lightweight site that modernizes milk, positions MilkPEP as an industry leader, better articulates the purpose of the organization, and acts as an entry point to the MilkPEP Resource Hub.
The MilkPep audience is Male/Female split, with an age range of 40-65. Many users are senior-ranking individuals residing in marketing, communications and sales roles and are industry partners. It’s important to note that the newly designed website would also have to cater towards of their (adult) children and grandchildren who are taking over their businesses.
Design Positioning

MilkPEP Homepage

UI Design
I took cues from the MilkPep brand guidelines and created a subtle milk splash in the background to breakup content and create movement on the page. I designed the website to have a subtle parallax effect as well. As the user scrolls the pages elements fade in and move overtop of each other.
Information is organized to be easy to read and to learn more information when necessary.

Mobile Screens
Though 85% of users view the website on desktop it is a fully responsive platform providing a seamless experience between desktop, tablet and mobile.
